I have fostered dogs for years and there is no way to say for sure how big a dog will be when grown. I have a family member who has a dog that is 5 lbs, and was bred to a 3 lb. male twice. She got 2 that are around 6 lbs, and one is 12 lbs. They were said to be pure bred Yorkies. They kept all of them anyway. Most dogs grow until 2 yrs. old and some older. I had 2 Chihuahuas that were bred very small also that had 3 lb. parents and promised to not get over 5 lbs. and was 11 lbs. and 12 lbs. when 2 yrs. old. So no one can tell you their dog will be any certain weight or height when grown. It all depends on their ancestors which not many people can know. So many people on here tell you how big their dog is for certain to be and there is no way they can promise that for sure. So just get a dog that you know you will love and want no matter what it grows up to be.
