let me tell y'all a little bit about our situation. My fiance lost his wife and daughters mother to her battle with mental illness in 2024. He was on a rehab at the time and his daughter had to stay with family. that family quickly became a very unhealthy place for her to be. I posted an ad on here and was after a few months contacted by a woman that offered a "unique" situation. we took her up on it and lived with her for 9 months. we paid our rent and I took care of her. then in April she brought a "friend" over After she had moved out. we were all then informed that she was renting the house out to another family that was willing to pay more then we could afford. she gave us 30 days to be out knowing it took months for us to find her. A friend of a friend had a trailer for sale so we invested everything we had into buying that trailer. well month 2 we were evicted from the trailer. we have been out of there since the 16th of June. since then our kiddo has had to stay with a friend out of town and she is not happy. we were living in our van it wasn't comfortable but it was a home of sorts. this past Thursday we got into a wreck and it was totaled out. now we have nothing and really no place to live that is stable or we can have our kiddo home. Shelters are full and they don't take dogs and we can't lose her too. I can't take much more and I am at a loss. I have tried all the things the agencies etc and nothing. I refuse to just give up and be homeless.
My fiance has a job and kiddo gets a survivor benefits check each month. we just can't afford to save up anything right now and not be on the streets which is illegal. We would be so greatful to find a home for around $700 a month. a weekly payment situation would honestly work best for us right now if that's possible if not that's ok too. we will figure it out we just want a safe place for our family. any help, tips ideas would be truly appreciated. even a room for rent that is reasonable a shed a garage anything that would work temporarily that keeps us off the streets and out of trouble would be great. we are both felons which is another barrier and our credit it ain't great. however we can give you a great reference from the woman we rented from before. we just need a chance desparately. we are looking for someplace preferably in the cedar hall school district but anywhere would work doesn't even have to be Evansville. or if someone has a vehicle they are willing to donate or sell on payments, a camper or rv whatever can help us to get out of the position we are in so we can thrive not just survive would be more than appreciated and treasured. please help I'm not sure what else to do but ask. ty for your time. please email or call show contact info
