I've got a sweet little barn find car that runs and drives great. It's a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais S. It's one of three project cars I've got. No rust and only 77,000 miles. 4 cylinder, automatic. It has very little rust. A spot about the size of the end of my finger and that's it. It was Ziebarted when new I suppose because I found rust proofing plugs.
New tires, recent battery, new suspension and alignment. The original tires were 13 inch but those are made of unobtainium anymore so I converted it to 14 inch wheels.
It fires right up but it also has a small bump in the nose I'll pull out if I ever get time. This car drives great. It has the Quad Four engine. The same horsepower and torque as a 3.8 but easier on gas. This was a cutting edge engine but expensive to build so it disappeared after a few years when the bean counters got involved.
I have a clean and clear title in my name. You can drive it home. It has a/c but I've never fooled with it. The heater nearly ran me out last winter. There is a small bump on the left front nose, otherwise it needs paint. This was built when paint didn't stay on cars.
Email through CL or call 812- 4 two three- 21 four 2 evenings before 9 Central time. This is a land line so no texting. If you call, I don't always hear the phone so leave a message. Interesting trades considered. I'm 8 miles from the Frog Follies.
