I bought this about 12 years ago to try and relive my youth. I had one like this in grade school and thought this blue Continental with the chrome hollow forks was the prettiest bike I had ever seen. The measurement from the center of the sprocket to where the top of the seat post hole is 24 inches. It has 28 inch wheels on it. I gave over $250 for it to be shipped from the first owner in Chicago. Serial number decodes to reveal it was manufactured in Chicago in April of 1978. The Continental decal is a little worn but I think they can be purchased on EBay. The tires have no cracks and plenty of tread, but the gumwalls look a little dirty. I am sure they have been replaced somewhere along the way. I hate to sell it but I never ride it. It is clean, oiled, adjusted and ready to ride or display.
If it is listed, it is still available. Questions about whether it’s still available will not be replied to.
