Hello, my name is David Beghtel, and I lead a Christian men's weekly accountability group for DaySpring Community Church. We are located in Owensville, IN and we meet each Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30. We have accountability questions that each man must answer about Bible reading / praying, our conversations and thought life, witnessing opportunities and our struggles / praise report of the week. Strict confidentiality methods are used for all issues and topics discussed in our meetings.
As Christian men, we need to be able to discuss issues with other men, to share similar struggles and to get good advice from other men who have been through similar events in their life. The accountability part of the meeting keeps us focused to read the Word and to pray often, as many of us admit that with our busy lives, we seem to procrastinate on getting into the Word like we should. After the accountability part of the meeting, we open up the floor to any questions or current event discussions.
Our weekly meetings are one of the high points of my busy week. If you are looking for an environment to come and meet with fellow Christian men, in a safe and confidential meeting environment, then I encourage you to come try out our weekly meeting.
